Who hasn’t heard about green detox juices?

To this day they are on everyone’s lips more than ever before, but what is actually the so/called -green juice- ?

They are juices with a great content of bright green fruits and vegetables (spinach , broccoli , apple … etc) and therefore with excellent cleansing and antioxidants properties. But, are they really a super health “potion”?

The answer is YES , definitely. It is proven that regular intake of these juices (even more early in the morning) provides many nutrients (iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, chlorophyll, vitamin K, vitamin B, vitamin C…) and few calories.

In addition, it can help to stay hydrated. Sometimes we do not drink the water we should and this is a way to supplement water intake. Dehydration decreases our physical and mental performance. Remember !

Moreover, they are a natural medicine that will protect you from many diseases due to the large amount of antioxidants that have.

Green juices strengthen the immune system and fight free radicals (molecules that damage cells and accelerate the aging process).

Therefore, here you have our favorite green juice recipe :

▪ a handful of spinach washed

▪ a washed and chopped green apple, with skin

▪ a kiwi

▪ a couple of celery sticks

▪ a small bunch of coriander leaves

▪ a peeled lime

▪ a glass of unsweetened apple juice
