My son is the same, touch is definitely his love language but I’ve had to also tell him he needs to ask first as not all people like go be hugged. He hugged the poor TV antenna man who was pretty good about it but it was awkward. The other day he said to me “I didn’t hug anyone today Mum”, to show me he’d done a good thing for me, which kinda broke my heart a little because let’s face it the world needs more spontaneous love so again I explained hugs are awesome, but you have to choose who you hug and ask first. Ahh the innocence of kids!
