I personally do not care one way or another BUT lets look at it. You want more Oberyn from Game of Thrones or Jack Harkness type bisexual male characters? You can do that. Crowdfund a few films like this. See if they sell. If they do then film writers and Producers will start changing the scripts.

Would I personally go to see a film to see men kissing? No. Do I find it exotic or adventurous? No.

But you are talking about making a film of which I am not the main audience. You are after a film to appeal to Feminists like yourself. So you can see it and virtue signal to your Feminist friends how wonderful the film was that it had a kissing scene between men in it. How Hollywood had finally started to shore up this heinous disparity. In fact you would not have to see it (as Action film are normally men-centric in the same way romantic comedies are female-centric) and instead you could simply base what you knew off a handful of Feminists that DID see it.

Of course the last Feminist action film made to appeal to Feminists as a whole was Ghostbusters and how did that do?

My suggestion and it is only a suggestion is think a little about target audiences and what changing the scripts and the aesthetics of such genres of film would do to a films bottom line. You COULD make Atomic Blonde more Ghostbusters BUT who YOU pay the difference in loss of revenue? You do NOT expect the people with a stake in the movie to risk their profits to appeal to Feminist critic’s sensibilities do you?

No, thought not. That would be pants on head ridiculous.

So….um….what are you suggesting then?
