October 2017 Update From Venntro Media Group
Following on from our update in September, this month I’m delighted to share the sustained growth we’ve achieved thanks to our brilliant partners and team at WhiteLabelDating.com.
August was a very good end to our financial year:
- B2B revenues grew 2.4% vs July
- Registrations up 4% vs July
- New subscribers increased 6% vs July
- Conversion grew by 1.75% vs July
In the USA — an area of focus for us recently — our revenues grew nearly 4% MoM and even more encouraging our US full member count grew by 9%.
August marked the fifth month in a row that we’ve enjoyed a positive net change of subscriptions on our platform — a feat we haven’t achieved for the last 4 years. A very well done to the team!!
This demonstrates, without doubt, the sustainability of our growth and was underpinned by a tripling of our EBITDA for the last 16/17 financial year in comparison with the previous 15/16 financial year. Furthermore, we are on budget to triple our EBITDA again this financial year- read on to learn more…
New Partner Wins
September 2017 was a great month for new partnerships, signing agreements with The Performance Marketing Network, BitterStrawberry, JewishSinglesAmerica.com, DivorcedSinglesAmerica.com and GaySinglesAmerica.com amongst others.
In addition, we attended a number of events to meet current and prospective partners including Brighton SEO where we were a lead exhibitor and registered over 400 leads for follow-up action.
Our partner team are going to have a very busy October!!
Two particular new partnerships we’re very proud of are Viva Street (the european online classifieds business similar to Craigslist) and Bauer Australia who recently partnered with us following the success of our relationship with Bauer in the UK.
Bauer Australia have moved quickly to roll out their brands on the WhiteLabelDating.com platform, launching first with the popular Take5 Magazine which attracts more than 522,125 print readers and an online audience of nearly 1million.
Sustained Growth and YoY Increase of 22.5%
September is traditionally a challenging month for the online dating industry and partners using our technology are affected as a result.
However, September 2017 was a significant improvement over recent years and bucked this trend.
Our new subscriptions (initials) as a percentage of our opening full member base increased by 22.5% compared to September 2016, which demonstrates the growth in both new and returning members to the platform — very encouraging for what is traditionally a challenging month.
