Most leaders aren’t aware of the dynamics of mobbing and how they play a key role in allowing it to happen. Mobbing culture kills trust and any meaningful possibility of high performance of the organization. My guess is that as a high performer you drew the ire of those needing you to regress to the mean.

Mobbing in the workplace is especially common in industries with strong hierarchy and rules based processes like government.
