The Concept of Throwback

I like the concept of throwbacks and it is really funny in a way. Throwbacks serve as reminders and they set you into a journey through your memories. Today is Thursday and is generally known to be “Throwback Thursday” or “TBT.” This is why I decided to share a throwback picture and give a background story.

I was in my 3rd year in that picture and I had the privilege to serve as a member of the Student Council in my University. I was away from school for my mandatory Industrial Attachment program and I came back to attend a very important event (this event). I was fat in this picture and this was because I was working with an FMCG (Nestle Nigeria). I was fed well and I had privileges which were quite mouthwatering. I am a lot thinner now, with less hair, a better phone and better buttoned shirts (winks).

Throwbacks are very good and appealing to the eyes, especially when throwback pictures are posted. Throwbacks help show how far we have come in our different journeys and how much we have grown. I love throwbacks, especially my professional throwback pictures. Whenever I look at the pictures I took some years or months, I get comforted and happy about my growth. I feel very optimistic about what the future holds and the roles I will play.

Please always post your throwbacks; pictures or videos. Let them keep reminded about the past and help you gain confidence and strength for the journey to come. Keep throwing back and keep being inspired by your growth and your works.
