Moonshot Freestyle Quad

The Moonshot officially started in early 2015 as 3" frames were purchased for deconstructions. After disastrous issues with various vendors, 11xx motors, and a few marginal successes design began.

In the summer of 2017, after over 1000 flights, 10 build variations, and thousands of dollars in research and testing material a release candidate was ready.

It was in 2017 when Runcam released the broken and still in alpha Split, a compact 1080p/60fps camera system with low latency HD system. The Split, or any micro HD system was the missing component to meet the declared goal.

A sub-250 gram, full performance HD freestyle quad with as few compromises as possible.
