My 10 Facts about Being an Entrepreneur Who’s Turning 25
Real Facts from an ex-24year-old Business Woman
3 Days ago I wrote an article about wisdom words on business here, on Medium. Now I’m presenting 10 Real Facts I noticed and am living them on a daily basis. Here’s to everyone who’s a Digital 25-some:
#10. While your social circle expands…
… your close friends circle shrinks. Because you’d rather have quality in your proximity than quantity.
#09. You start believing…
… that no encounter with people and strangers is pure coincidence, because the universe has great plans for you, but of course you have no idea what those plans are.
#08. The question “So what do you do for a living?”…
… becomes annoying and you usually answer it in less than 2 phrases.
#07. You’re looking for answers that no one has…
… not even you.
#06. You don’t have any friends in your close circle who are still in college.
But you do have friends who are nearly twice your age and you love their company.
#05. It’s been 10 years since elementary school ended…
And you find yourself contemplating on all the dreams and expectations you have before entering high school.
#04. The loud music in a Pub or Club irritates you…
To the point you ask the bartender or waitress to lower the volume. But they can’t do that. So you leave.
#03. You can easily stay up late to work on your business…
But you can’t stay up too late to party and have fun — that gets you tired easily.
#02. You start reading more…
… business, leadership and motivational books than prose and poetry. And reading a book in a cafe or park by yourself isn’t strange anymore, it’s actually nice.
#01. You stop talking too much…
… and start listening more. And let others talk more about themselves than you do about yourself.
