Find short cuts to your activism too. And I don’t mean turning it into slacktivism. Like my favorite thing to do now is to have my kindle read the Washington Post or New York Times out loud to me while I do things like clean, take a bath, cook a meal, paint my nails, etc. You can even use those tasks as a time limit on how much news-listening you do a day. If I’m done cooking I’m turning the kindle off and sitting down to chat with my husband while we eat.
