I very rarely eat cheese now, but I used to be mad about it. Crave it all the time (and it doesn’t help that they shove it on top of everything these days). I have read some of the science about casein/casomorphins being addictive, but not sure how conclusive/accurate it is. Either way, I finally “quit” when I moved to South Korea for 6 months and became addicted to Kimchi instead.
People will always whine and point out the very few exceptions to the rule when you try to encourage a change in eating habits, but I think you did pretty well here with some self deprecating humour and a few disgusting facts (human cheese?!) thrown in there. Thanks for that.
