Trump has demonstrated a caricature-like inability to treat people with respect, be it the women he sexually assaulted, the workers (blue collar, I may add) he failed to pay, the students of Trump U who he conned, or the disabled people he’s mocked. I find it very confusing that you are suggesting that a Trump presidency will result in “more respect” for working class people. Or for anyone, for that matter. This is the man who had such little respect for his fellow Americans that he flaunted his wealth and yet refused to pay taxes for over a decade.
That’s who you think will respect you?
Trump’s presidency will further enrich the rich and his friends, don’t kid yourself. Look at his tax plan. The 1% will get more than 2/3 of tax savings, with average tax cuts of 12–20%, or $122,000+. Yet the middle class will get a break of less than $500, and some will have higher taxes. And benefits to the poor will be cut. Please help me understand how his presidency can possibly be good for the poor, or for our country. Because it’s truly baffling to me.
