Sahas means courage. A 3D printing company that is building a complete ecosystem around the 3D printing industry- covering machines, skill development, training and education, Sahas is poised to capitalize on the growth of industry 4.0 in the region.

Problem
With numerous areas of opportunity, Sahas needed to clarify their identity and purpose that would help effectively represent not just the various facets of the organization but also their future.

Solution
The brand identity was centered around “empower the new”. As a statement it articulated their passion for helping their clients innovate and also codified their core purpose.

With Sahas, the first step of the journey was to define the core purpose of the company. With opportunities in several different industries & segments and several potential collaborations and tie-ups, Sahas needed to create a model that would enable them to grow at a rapid rate and at the same time create a framework for structured expansion.

To build this framework, we looked at a nested model built around a core purpose which then becomes the organizing principle for the company.

The core purpose needed to effectively capture not just what the business looks like today but also serves to create a scaleable blueprint of their ambition. To derive the core purpose, a series of conversations with the founders led a common drive — the drive to create products and solutions for innovative companies.

Advanced medical 3d printed molds, architectural models, engineering solutions and innovative consumer product development projects had a common genesis — the drive to create products and solutions for the future and to bring innovation to life.

Empower the new — became the pivot point — a simple sentence that effectively communicated the larger purpose for the company and also became a roadmap for the future.

The new identity used a simple mark — the split H derived from the classical imagery of creation.

Identifying the central purpose and creating a central monolithic identity also helped in creating a brand architecture that allowed the various practice areas to be organized under a central identity.

As part of the mandate of Empower the New — Sahas collaborated with Bharat Floorings & Tiles in their exhibition — Paving the Way. Sahas created stylized facades of key heritage buildings in South Mumbai in which Bharat Flooring & Tiles had created flooring during the art deco period.

As Sahas forges to create new milestones, collaborations & tie-ups, we are helping them shape their future.
