Following my older brother’s lead (asst. mgr. at Baskin-Robbins), I got a part-time summer job at Yogurt Etc. just up the street. I think this was just after my junior year.
I was canned after jokingly telling a customer who inquired about the quality of the product, “oh, it sucks.”
Even as a joke, that doesn’t play well to owners making ends meet with soft-serve.
