While I’m no fan of Donald Trump, without crowds heckling and blocking access to his rallies, there would be far fewer incidents. Those who would deny freedom of speech to Mr. Trump are wrong. Some of what he says may be distasteful to many but preventing him from speaking is a clear denial of his First Amendment rights. Mr. Trump is talking about doing some awful things; demonstrators (and yes, some Trump staff) are actually doing them.
Opponents need to back off and allow Mr. Trump a forum so that people can rationally judge what he is saying rather than the message (and a subsequent rebuttal) being lost in the general melee.
