Why Self Care and Hygiene can increase Productivity

A majority of people who work with negative mindsets tend to be less productive than the average person. This mainly stems from a lack of the motivation others would feel while working that drives them to work harder, causing them to feel apathetic about their work and themselves. One of the most effective ways to counteract this mindset is to start by taking care of your own well being above all else. By performing simple hygiene such as bathing, grooming, and brushing your teeth can make you feel more positive and calm due to the lack of uncleanliness on your body.

This sense of positivity felt due to being clean translates directly into your productivity, where you start to work at a much faster pace than before. And this proves more effective once you start cleaning up your surrounding environment, such as your work area or your bedroom. Having everything organized and in control puts people into a positive and motivated state of mind, making it the best time to be productive. I used to be a messy person and never wanted to get any work done before I learned to clean up myself and my living space. Now, with a clean body and workspace, my work capacity is drastically higher than it was before it was cleaned. In conclusion, cleaning yourself is the best way to clean your mind of negativity for better productivity
