Yin and Yang

Such a wonderful image. The white teardrop is bliss and the black teardrop is sorrow, those exquisitely wonderful and painful feelings that are the seed points of our emotional life and the absolutes at the absolute end of our emotional spectrum. The white dot is love, i.e. pure bliss or the total absence of sorrow. The black dot is grief, i.e. pure sorrow or the total absence of bliss. The image is circular like a clock, reminding us that the passage of time is sometimes necessary to move us through the various shades and back into balance.
