5 Indore based preferred startups to work for

To find out which ones seem to be doing well, we went to the insiders: employees, via the employee reviews of their employers they shared on job-hunting site Glassdoor.

If you are looking to get in early on the next amazing company with a ton of upside, you’ll have to look at earlier ideas. Here are my list of startups to work at in 2017, balancing both stability (i.e. they’ve raised a round) and upside (i.e. it’s still not too big yet).

  1. InstaCar

InstaCar is changing road travel in India ride by ride. they are a fast-growing taxi rental marketplace with one dream: making each road trip happy. Attempting to fill the gap of getting outstation taxis, InstaCar is simplifying the process of booking rented outstation cars by providing a democratic marketplace.
Indore-based InstaCar has raised $1 million in a seed funding round from HongKong-based Swastika Co Ltd.

2. MSG91- A Product of Walkover

A product based startup located in their client’s heart , but physically at Central India.
Walkover was founded in 2010, and since then only warriors joined their journey — they are choosy. Today, they are a team of 55 Spartans.
Small team; big victories. And differentiation? They are explorers, thinkers and creators with turnover of $3.2 Millions annually

Culture: Work, Books, Music, Video Games, Sports, Fun, Food.
That’s staple diet. Not necessarily in this order ;)

3. EngineerBabu

They work with selected clients to whom they can provide value.
Indore-based IT product and services company EngineerBabu bootstrapped venture. EngineerBabu now plans to scale up its client base in countries such as the US, China and Japan. EngineerBabu has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Pune-based Scale Ventures for their two-month-old subscription-based B2B IT products platform.

4. ShopKirana

ShopKirana was founded in 2015 by Tanutejas Saraswat, Sumit Ghorawat, and Deepak Dhanotiya. ShopKirana is an Android-based mobile application that can be downloaded for free. The retailers can then look for goods they want, order through the app, and pay cash at the time of delivery. ShopKirana has raised a pre-Series A funding round (Undisclosed)from Japanese seed-stage investment firm Incubate Fund, it said in a statement. Total Funding is approx $60k in 3 Rounds from 5 Investors

5. RackBank

RackBank is a premium carbon-neutral Data Center — Central India’s first data center mainly providing data center services including but not limited to dedicated servers, managed servers, colocation services. Founded in 2013 by Narendra Sen, we are a fast-growing startup with a clear cut vision of making India self-sufficient in data storage and hosting.
Headquartered in Indore, our datacenter spreads out in a vast expanse of 35000 sq. ft. with a capacity of 800 racks and still growing.
