Why studying abroad taught me comparative government should be necessary in today’s curriculums
As progressive as Paris is, it is heavily romanticized and I will admit I was someone who romanticized it. The way I romanticized Paris is very similar to the way certain groups romanticize the United States. Being immersed in the city of Paris, opened my eyes to the realization that the unjust treatment of colored people at the hands of law enforcement isn’t just an American social injustice but a world wide injustice.
