Many people in this country have fine lives without higher education. You can get training that will qualify you for a good paying job without ever going to a university. And you can start earning money years before the college kids graduate. Medicine, when I grew up, was a prestigious field, with doctors earning very nice livings and having comfortable lifestyles, by and large. However, many doctors are now leaving the practice of medicine. It has been taken over and ravished by insurance companies, which I have often referred to as Satan…
