Gotta Start Somewhere, Right?

I’m 20 years old as of writing this. I’ve got two assignments due later today and am waiting for a production company to open their internship page so I can try and make another company take notice of me (as of the time I have finished editing this, I have applied).

So what the hell am I doing on Medium?

It’s actually kind of a tough question to answer but one that also sort of makes sense. Just try and follow me for a second.

I’ve been a creative kid all my life. Writing 10 page stories in kindergarten and making home videos as soon as I discovered a camera. It took me 17 years to recognize my passion for storytelling and now I’m at college getting a film degree.

Medium is going to be used as a jack of all trades kind of thing for me. I’ll be using the site as a blog for the most part. I’ll be uploading videos and episodes of my podcast on here (which is still a thing by the way. I’m just trying to transition it to a video format which is tougher than expected.) as well as writing articles about all things interesting to me. This could include movie reviews, TV reviews, sports and esports articles, music posts, and anything else that comes to mind.

What I like about Medium is that you’re given the option to follow a person or publication based on how they tag their articles. So if I’m writing about Counter Strike, I can give it certain tags and then people who are subscribed to those tags will see my post about it. It’s a really cool website and I hope to learn how to make the most out of it.

But like the title says, I gotta start somewhere, right?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
