Microsoft azure is basically a clouding computing service which is developed by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and service through Microsoft-managed data centers. It is owned and managed by Microsoft and it offers you its service in a pay-as-you-go model, and it is a second largest cloud provider in the world this process is called as Microsoft azure.

How does Microsoft azure work?

Microsoft azure is a public and private cloud platform. You may be familiar with the azure services, the developers, and IT professionals use to build, deploys, and manage the applications. Azure uses a technology known as virtualization. Virtualization separates the tight coupling between a computers CPU and its operating system using an abstraction layer called a hypervisor. The hypervisor emulates the all the functions of a real computer and its CPU in a virtual machine. It can run multiple virtual machines at a same time and each virtual machine can run any compatible operating system such as windows or Linux. Azure takes the virtualization technology and repeats it’s on a massive scale in Microsoft data centers throughout the world. Each data center has many racks filled with servers. Each server included a hypervisor to run multiple virtual machines.

Microsoft Azure services

The following azure services are given below-

· Compute- creates windows or Linux virtual machines of any configuration in a matter of seconds, users can create a scalable applications within the cloud using the virtual machines whose provisioning, load balancing and health monitoring are handled by azure post-deployment.

· Networking- azure CDN services are used for delivering high bandwidth content to users worldwide, express route lets on-premise networks into Microsoft cloud through a private connection.

· Storage- provides cost-effective HDD/ SSD options which can be used with azure virtual machine, blob storage optimized for storing massive amounts of unstructured data, such as text or binary data.

Uses of Microsoft azure

For application development which could be any application mostly web applications. Then you can test the applications, see how well it’s work you can host the application on the internet. You can create virtual machines of any size or RAM that you want. You can integrate in sync features. You can collect and store matrices for example, how the data works, how the current data is, and how you can improve upon it. All of that is possible with these services and your virtual hard drives which is an extension of the virtual machines where these services are able to provide you large amount of storage where data can be stored.
