I like the comparison to Ireland. Unfortunately, I don’t think much will change in Russia as most support Putin and his war. I’ve written about how I think the only serious threat to his power is the unpopularity of conscription. He’s gone through great lengths just to avoid conscripting again which is widely disliked.
