How a single Medium article consumed all of my available free time for the past two weeks

Seriously, the comments… they won’t stop. I need to eat… and sleep. What have I done… (USA Network)

Here’s my top 3 for the week of September 10–14.

  1. If you would have told me that I would have to put my life on hold for a single Medium article, I would have laughed you off the internet.
But that’s what happened. I published a wake-up call, declaring that the field of UX was in trouble and needed to wake up. 21 thousand views and nearly 100 comments later, I’m back! 🙂
  2. It looks like I’ll be doing my first batch of client work at either the end of September or mid-October.
I’ll be partnering for the former and conducting my first design sprint for the latter. I’ll post here when I know more details. I’m really excited to get started.
  3. The DDS Podcast is starting to come together.
I’ve been getting more confident with each episode, and finding new material to work with. I’m less concerned about listenership and more worried about the content. Once I get the content right, we’re good to go. 🙂

See you next week!
