You are important

You are like a seashell on the beach, you may just be one out of thousands and thousands, but to a little kid you may be the most beautiful seashell around. All seashells have their own way of being unique. Every seashell has a different texture, look, smell, pattern, everything imaginable is different for each seashell. That’s exactly like humans. Nothing is exactly the same for any two people, not even twins. Certain things appeal to certain people, so don’t worry if you are just one out of a thousand seashells on the beach because you’re exactly what someone is looking for.

Just because you may be such a small percentage of the world, that doesn’t mean that you don’t matter. Being minuscule to everything doesn’t mean much because you help make the canvas that is known as the world and YOU are important. You bring something extraordinary to the table that no one else can. Without you, nothing would be the same or in this case, the beach wouldn’t be the same. It wouldn’t be normal. Even if you’re just one out of a million, you complete the picture.

Don’t ever lose your confidence — someone’s waiting for the perfect time to pick you out of the crowd or the beach and choose you. It will happen. YOU are important and the sad thing is you might not even know it because you’re too worried that you’re not doing enough or that people might not like you; however, the most important thing is that you are doing what makes you happy and not what makes others happy. If it’s going to make you happy, do it, if it’s not going to, don’t do it. You are just as unique and essential as all the other seashells on the beach.

Don’t underestimate the capability of a strong human being, you can do it even if you are just a small fragment of the big picture. The more you think about it, a seashell is the perfect example for what you are, you’re as small as a seashell in such a big place like the beach or the world. YOU are important. You make the world go around; you make everything complete. Never forget that even as small as you are, the most important thing to remember is that you are relevant and even if you aren’t “chosen” the first time someone strolls past you, it doesn’t mean that you never will get chosen or that they didn’t want you. Not everyone is going to like you, but that’s okay as long as you like who you are as a person and that you’re comfortable in your own skin. You may be one seashell of thousands at the beach, but in the bigger picture, YOU are important.
