Great write Josh Hoffman.

However I have a different opinion about the point “When you have a Plan B, you give yourself the option to fail.”.

Plan B does not mean, you are giving yourself a option to fail.It means you are covering all bases and trying to minimize the points of failure in the best way possible.Let us face the reality,we live in a very competitive world in which rising back from failure requires considerable effort. In such a scenario,we need to plan our moves “SMARTLY” and make sure we have covered all possible scenarios that can go wrong in the best way possible.

Gone are those days, when success was only one “single minded” pursuit of objective. Now success is a “multi edged sword” and every aspect need to be adequately covered to succeed. That is what SMART leaders do.
