I am an Uber survivor.
Amy Vertino

This report makes me physically ill.

Some of us go out of our way to make the workplace comfortable and encouraging for our women colleagues. Anything else is unconscionable and unforgivable.

It’s very disillusioning. I’ve been a frequent Uber user, but it’s impossible to patronize them when these conditions prevail in the workplace.

Please don’t ascribe this abhorrent behavior to all men. Most of us treasure the women with whom we work, me so much I made my mentee my boss, only because she deserves it.
