God Is Faithful
Rom.10.9–10.niv “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
Yesterday, i asked my friends: Why when faith is added with ful, the meaning is changing? And this morning, I read that verse “it is with your mouth that you profess your FAITH and are saved” Then I asked God: What do you want me to learn? It was 5.30 am..
There was no answer. I didn’t hear anything until i went to the toilet. When I sat down, my mind was reminded with last night’s question. What’s interesting was i speak to myself (and I believe it was God): To be faithful we must have faith. In other words, before we are faithful we need to have faith.
What is faith? It is the foundation of what we hope for (Hebrew 11:1). Meaning: When we have faith, we have hope and faithful means our hope is already full and expressed externally through our action that we become faithful.
Our God is faithful. He has faith in us. Even though we fail many times, he is not giving up on us. He believes that we can will grow to be more like Jesus.. to become complete.
When we know that someone we love put his/her faith in us, of course we want to make it come to life. We will also have that faith. Can you imagine God almighty put His faith in us? He is not giving up on us!
When God puts His faith, He belives we can change! Let’s grow together to bemore Christ like. Whatever temptation may come, He believes we can face it with HIM!
God bless!
