They have loved her
loved her infinitely, selflessly
from the time her heart started beating
until their heart stops.
They have loved her and will; or so they say.

He has loved her
loved her passionately, selflessly
from the time she made his heart skip a beat
until his heart rests in peace.
He’ll keep loving her; or so he says.

They love her,
she belongs to them.
He loves her,
she is where he belongs.

Their love: so strong yet so fragile
His love: so fresh yet so rooted
Their’s could burn her heart
and his could freeze it.

She cries herself to sleep
Unbearable it is
being the falcrum of this seesaw
she never wished.

She cries herself to sleep
screaming how Unfair it is.
when you fight a war to loose anyways.
All this time cursing the world
for how easily it quotes
“everything is fair in love and war
