Apple’s Car: This is how its gonna be like
Now that rumors are getting hot around Apple getting into car business, here is my take on how this is gonna look and function.
Fuel: Would be 100% electrical with no backup on gas for fuel. Apple is already investing & learning solar and poaching Tesla employees
Lock: Auto lock/unlock, based on your iPhone profile and your proximity to car (with phone in your pocket). No separate keys.
Operations: Would understand and respond to narrative voice commands instead of “Car Radio On” and would talk back to you if you are falling asleep (you must be wearing apple watch to detect this)
Semi-self drive: I do not think they would launch a self driving cars like Google cars as their first. It would be more closure to Tesla p85. There will be driving wheel.
Charging: Charging would require unique port/wire in-compatible with rest of the electric cars out there.
Dashboard: Very digital, imagine Tesla dashboard but instead of vertical screens, its gonna be more wider and cover very large portion of the front dashboard.
Music: You can already listen to great music in your car with your in-dash app like you have in cars like Mercedes benz but if you are an apple fan boy with lot of songs in your itunes library, this apple car would sound music to your ear.
Pricing: Would be priced premium like any other apple product, in line with Tesla offerings.
Purchase: Off-course you will be able to buy this car online or on nearby apple car store using Apple Pay
