The Illusion of the Doppelgänger

The Doppelgänger or ‘twin stranger’ is a result of our ‘mis’ perception and seeking patterns in the world.

On our journey to find the history and mythos of the Doppelgänger (evolved from the traditional Jewish myth of the golem) at the Jewish Museum in Berlin we stumbled across James Turrell’s Ganzfeld >>Aural<<-an exploration of the human perception of light, color, and space.

Inspired by Turrell’s work, we dropped our own “Ganzfeld” in the middle of the Jewish Museum, as a tribute to our experience of his work.
