When you feel Lost…
There are days when we feel lost and absolutely de-motivated and just want to lay on your bed and do nothing, these are the days when you should get up form your bed and do something, and I agree it’s not the best work you will do but when to get on your work space and just start you will feel a much better and at the end of the day will thank your self to do the work
But is there any way to get your self up in a easier way? well thankfully the answer is hell yes, you have to ask your self these three questions for that inspiration:
Who am I?
This is the fundamental question you should ask your self often, this question will help you to discover about your self a lot more than you think, remember honesty is the key to these questions. Just take a page with yourself and write whatever you know about your self, start form very basic your name, your current status either you are a student or a working professional, then what are you doing what are you working on or what are you studying currently and much more.
If you are struggling with the questions for instance you can follow this frame work, but develop your self your set of questions as you move forward
- my name
- my professional status
- my financial status
- my friends (define them)
- how much I worked today
- my bad/ good habits
- my family members(define them)
- my likes and dislikes
Who I want to become?
Imagine your future self and write what they have. Let’s assume you want to become a data analyst (aim as big as you can) you can write like ‘i am a MIT graduate data analyst currently working with google, soon leave google and work full time on my startup with my buddies’ and you can go as forward as you can, you can define each and every small detail like ‘i am wearing my favorite grey suit’, and many other things.
You can dream as big as you can but keep in mind just don’t go so far that you make it near or kinda impossible, don’t worry nothing is impossible but there should be a specific meaningful goal which you want to achieve. It doesn’t matter that your dream should be meaningful for every one you know if you find your dream meaningful then you should go for it
What I am doing for it?
Now you know who are you (current self), and who you want to be (future self. Now the main question is what are you doing in order to become that person, who you wanted to be, I will recommend you to write this down in your journal too.
You should perfectly know what are you doing in order to become the person you want to become. If your efforts are clear to you then it will be much more easier to know whether you should increase you efforts or not or in general they are enough or not?
