As a black man, father, founder, and CEO of a startup, this week was internally tense for me. What do I say? Who do I say it too? What do I do? What can I do? What do I say to my nine-year-old son?

I immediately posed these questions to myself but to be honest was more concerned with the opinions that I may stir up because I am a CEO of a startup. I am out here pushing the vision of the company, meeting with potential investors, and trying to secure our next client; but people are being killed on a daily basis and it hurts.

The goal was not to rant in your comment section but you’ve made some very valid points that hit home and has my mind racing which may spark a post of my own.
