I totally agree. In fact, that is the subject of my next post: “embrace boredom”. I believe in “both-and” rather than “either-or”. So I believe in hard work, and I also believe in unwinding. I believe in stoicism and I also believe in taoism. I believe life is a river you have to paddle against as well as a stream you can enjoy riding upon in a smooth flow. In my next one or two articles, I will examine this question. I will look at the importance of boredom, of doing nothing, of unwinding, and the perils of excess doing.
