Every situation is an opportunity to find the right questions. Better questions yields better answers.

Below are some questions to reflect on during this pandemic.

What do I want to avoid?

All I Want To Know Is Where I’m Going To Die So I’ll Never Go There — Charlie Munger

Some things you may want to avoid:

  • Panic
  • Feel sad/frustrated
  • Feel lonely
  • Getting the coronavirus
  • Losing loved ones
  • Financial difficulty

The next question to ask: How can I avoid these?

Some possible answers include:

  • If you know that binge watching the news and everything that’s happening with COVID-19 brings you down, then you can limit your news consumption to an hour a day.
  • Stay connected with your close friends and family, and support them in the best way you know how.
  • Learn and practice Stoicism to put things in perspective.
  • Stay home.
  • Practice gratitude.
  • Meditate.
  • Stay rational.
  • Reach out to friends, family…
