THE STORY OF THE MOST STRUGGLING CHILDHOOD TO THE SUCCESSFUL LIFE

We are from Ahmedabad. My mother and father had a love marriage in January 1981. Due to financial problem, they couldn’t get much education. Both have studied till 10th class only. After marriage, in November 1983 I was born and in September 1985 My sister was born. At that time also, our financial condition was very weak. My father was driving his own auto rickshaw from April 1983 and my mother was doing tiffin service. Both have done a lot of struggle.
At that time, people thought not to allow girls to study but my parents allowed us to complete our study. They thought whatever happened to us should not repeat with our kids. Their schedule for work was from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. In between, they had done many works like sale of Gown, Chhaddar, then doing rakhi, stitching, craft work.
I mean to say my parents had not taken single day rest for a while.I have studied till B.Com, PGDCA+, and My sister has done C.A. and CPA(Australia). We both sisters have also given them support. We have never demanded any toy, pocket money, clothes, chappals. You will not believe, we were wearing old clothes which other people had thrown. Sometimes my parents cried that they could not give us that type of life like others, but we are very proud that they had given us education.
In 2006, I have joined CA Firm, “Shah & Shah Associates” Chartered Accountants with Rs.2000/- salary p/m and my sister has joined articleship for completion of C.A.Course with the same organization. Here again, God is with us: Boss and staff members were so much co-operative and very polite and careful to both of us. In 2007, I got married with my colleague, Anish Mehta( Who is also doing CA). And my sister got married in 2009 with his chatting friend, Bihag Dave. In 2007, when I got married, at that time, the same story was there in my in-law house; our financial condition was also same.
We both have done so a lot struggle but not more than my parents as we were educated. But in short, right now, we have our own flats, my husband is doing his own practice as CA named Anish Mehta & Co. I am doing my own business named “KM Accounting Solution and KM Alliance LLP”.
I have a 4-year-old boy. My sister is settled in Australia with her husband since 2010, she also has her own house in Australia. My parents also have their own house now. Now my parents are not doing anything, they just look after our kids when we are busy with our businesses.
So all now settled. Right now, they are in Australia with my sister as she has a 5-month-old baby boy.All I wanted to tell you that my parents are God for us; they had given us a good life. One more thing, we are living with our in-laws and they are superb.
I am feeling they are more than my parents. I have never felt that I am their daughter-in-law. They also support us in every situation, but they cannot do the bhagadaudi for us as they are so aged. Many more things want to share about my life but I think it’s not easy to write each and everything.I am very thankful to C4N India and We for Woman for providing us the platform to share our thoughts. Thank you so much.
Keep it up.
