The Government Doesn’t Understand Technology (Again)

We can leave solar cars and hydrogen cars matter for the future as it is unlikely they will be adopted by the masses anytime soon and it might take even a longer time for them to be adopted in Sri Lanka.

There are many short sighted inappropriate government decisions that shows how they don’t understand technology, as for example the increase on internet charges in a time where the access to internet should get cheaper, in a country where we should promote internet and technology was the biggest mistake in the budget that followed.

Also it is understandable the increase in charge for vehicle smoke test, as a measure for environment friendly transportation, but the increase in price of electronic environmentally friendly cars is totally contradictory to the increase in smoke test charge.
