Sharing Power

The metaphor of sharing power—trusting and relying on each other both literally and figuratively—is what collaboration is all about.


The other day I was in my project room working at the table across from my colleague Susan when, as per usual, that annoying “low battery” alert popped up on my desktop. It’s really the worst because it breaks my flow completely. (And, I’ve been known to work on PAPER before walking the twenty feet to my desk where my power cord is parked. But hey, I’m GenY; there’s nothing I hate more than inconvenience.) The great thing about collaborating is that it’s all about sharing power! I’m willing to draw anything for Susan and she’ll take the time to explain what a “commodity” actually is…
