Clean Water Project and Youth Pastors Mission Trip
Every day in rural communities and poor urban centers throughout Kenya, millions of people suffer from a lack of access to clean, safe water. It is estimated in developing counties like Kenya, that 80% of all illnesses are caused by water borne diseases with diarrhea leading to dehydration, which while fatal can also be easily prevented…

In just 4 days, a team of 14 individuals from different churches in the North Georgia UMC Conference will travel to Divine Providence Training Center, a non-denominational pastoral training school in Kenya, to install a Living Water purification system for a well that will sanitize the water from harmful minerals and deadly bacteria that causes water borne illnesses. This system will provide clean water to the students, staff at Divine Providence Training Center and the community of Matasia in which they serve. It will also produce sales of bottle water to help sustain the ministry of DPTC and the well.
While the water system is being installed throughout the week, youth pastors will be collectively working and praying together, further exploring ways to foster Youth ministry between youth in Kenya and America.
The team invites you to join them on their journey through prayer! Here is a day by day prayer guide you can follow, and be sure to check back each day for updates on the trip and installation of the water system!
