Dear all.
Its been a while since the last update and for that we apologies. In light of this we have now taken the step to hire a full time in-house community manager from Singapore. He is currently in his notice period and will start with us soon. This will free up some much-needed time for us at the same time as our online community will get more frequent updates and follow up. It is an already known user from our telegram group and a very committed COSS user. Being a Singaporean and residing very near to the office made the decision easy for us. …
COSS update March 10th 2018
Dear all.
This will be a fairly brief update. In this industry it is not always easy to make predictions, and especially not about the future. Right now our main focus is to deliver FIAT trading. In order to get there we first have to finalize the implementation of the new KYC system. This has resulted in a larger than predicted UI job, and hence the focus had to shift. There is also a UI job to do in regards to the FIAT trading, deposit and withdrawal also. As you might already have guessed and seen this have forced the team to relocate resources from the planned UI upgrade. The upgrade of the COSS token and the DAO also resulted in some pushbacks from the backend team. The backend team is also working hard on implementing smart contract wallets for all the erc20 tokens which is aimed for end of March. Deadlines are not always easy to keep, but we are trying as hard as we can. The process is now moving forward and it is looking good. Mong’s team have now confirmed a new and much needed Devops Engineer and we are in negotiations with several new additions to the dev team here in Singapore. …
Dear all.
February is coming to an end and we are also quickly approaching the upgrade of the COSS token.
1. Eliminates the problem of lost tokens which happens during the transfer of ERC20 tokens to a contract (when people mistakenly use the instructions for sending tokens to a wallet). ERC223 allows users to send their tokens to either wallet or contract with the same function transfer, thereby eliminating the potential for confusion and lost tokens.
2. Allows developers to handle incoming token transactions, and reject non-supported tokens (not possible with ERC20)
3. Energy savings. The transfer of ERC223 tokens to a contract is a one step process rather than a 2-step process (for ERC20), and this means 2 times less gas and no extra blockchain…

Welcome to this week’s edition of the COSS.IO Update.
As always, we have multiple topics to cover in this update, so read through carefully and feel free to share.

Hi all.
Here is a brief update from us at COSS HQ in Singapore.
On the visible part there is not to much updates to come with this week, but behind the scenes we have made big progress. Adrian from Romania has been here all week and worked closely with Mong and Jay on the Development side of things. A lot of planning and scheduling ongoing and it has been some very busy days with long hours for all involved. Hot topics of the week have of-course been site performance, planning for the new KYC/AML/CTF system to be integrated, planning and scheduling the implementation of FIAT trading/deposit/withdrawals, planning and scheduling for mandatory 2fa functions along with many other topics. …
Dear all. Welcome to this weeks brief COSS.IO update.
During a crazy crypto week with big correction/crashes in the market we still have had time for some humor in our community. When the crash started I got hit with the famous MAN-FLU. Which for all men around the world is the worst disease ever. It is basically the only disease that allows you to pick up a world wide compassion card. I was down for a while and only worked from home so I didn't pass it on to any of our staff. Today I have recovered a bit and I am back at the office, and also the market has recovered a bit today. …
COSS.IO
Dear all.
We have many very interesting trading promos ongoing and upcoming on COSS.IO
First of all, here are how they work.
The company behind the tokens commit x amount of tokens to a trading promo on coss.io
The trading promos normally runs for 30 days.
The TOP 50 Volume Traders on the specific token split the pool accordingly:
Top 10 split 30% of the pool
Next 10 split 25%
Next 10 split 20%
Next 10 split 15%
Next 10 split 10%
It is the combined amount of tokens traded (bought and sold) that counts. …

From wikipedia:
A community is a small or large social unit (a group of living things) who have something in common, such as norms, religion, values, or identity. Communities often share a sense of place that is situated in a given geographical area (e.g. a country, village, town, or neighborhood) or in virtual space through communication platforms. Durable relations that extend beyond immediate genealogical ties also define a sense of community. People tend to define those social ties as important to their identity, practice, and roles in social institutions like family, home, work, government, society, or humanity, at large.[1][2] …
Dear all.
Welcome to this coss.io update. We are all getting ready for Sundays UI launch on coss.io and here are a few messages related to the launch.
We see this launch as our new UI v1.0 and what we mean by that is that there will come more upgrades and improvements. Before we go into details on this, lets have a look at what we will go live with tomorrow.

This is the night-view of the new UI, and there is also a bright day-view version. …
