SJ Cuz Fantasy Football: Season 2 Week 2
Season 2, Epsiode 2 of SJCFF

SC Heartbreakers vs Not So Undefeated
Dear GM of the Not So Undefeated (ha, at least you did something right in predicting you would not go undefeated),
Pre-Season is over. Please, put your starters in. I repeat, preseason is over. This is not a drill. It is no longer time to fool around and see if you can score the lowest amount of points — competiton has begun.
Sincerely, everyone.
Anyways, this weeks brother vs. brother matchup is similar to that of brothers Joe and Mike Flacco; one is very relevant in the NFL while the other makes you go “who? he exists?”
On one hand we have the current #1 placeholder, the SC Heartreakers who have Drew Brees at QB (7 TD’s last season against the NY Giants), 1 elite WR (Antonio Brown), and 2 low tier WR1's/high end WR2’s (A.J. Green and Alshon Jeffrey). And not to mention, elite RB’s that had monster performances last week and can be expected to put up similar numbers once again. What was once a questionable draft proved itself last week, leaving the Heartbreakers some options.
Speaking of options, on the other hand we have the NSU’s, who have none. Their players reportedly thought there were now 5 weeks of preseason, resulting in their bench outperforming the starters. Lets hope (but do we really?) that their players pose a threat and perform better this time around. Otherwise, it’ll result in an easy win.
Prediction: The Heartbreakers > Not So Undefeated

Ware are the Wins? vs Champs
This matchup of 0–1 vs 0–1 leaves someone in the dust to be one spot above the Not So Undefeated, who will end up 0–2 after this weekend. Both of these teams’ star running backs put up similar performances last week — less than 50 yards and heavily dominated by the opposing defense. The Ware are the Wins will put their trust in AP breaking out of his shell this week, Cam going ham on the 49ers, Ware putting up numbers as good as last week, and Julio Jones going beast mode.
The Champs, despite their mediocre roster, put up an impressive fight last week. Had their bench players replaced some of the starters, they could have been a serious threat. As the Ware’s, they hope to have Gurley and Dez figure out their respective roles on their teams and put up tier 1 performances this week. I would not undermine this team, since they are known to have random players dominate.
Prediction: Ware are the Wins > Champs

Bompton Piru’s vs Pima Block Oilers
In the final match up of this week, you have the overly cocky Piru’s going against the Oilers, who come off of a lucky Monday night victory. 45% of the Piru’s starting roster depends on one game — Saints vs Giants. Let’s hope this game ends up being high scoring, similar to last season (where Eli Manning had 6 TD’s). The Piru’s will be in trouble if it is anything less than a TD battle between both QB’s.
The Oilers may have one of the weaker WR duos in the SJ Cuz league, but fear not — they will rely heavily on their RB’s this weekend with the leagues top, David Johnson, and rookie Ezekiel Elliot going up against teams that allow lots of opportunities for the run game to excel. I believe this will be one of the closest matches of this weekend, so keep an eye on these players to see who comes out on top.
Prediction: Piru’s > Oilers
Good Luck!
