Rural Inclusion and Solutions Studio is excited to announce a new collaboration to see Pacific Islanders receive capacity building in areas of digital literacy, financial literacy, and disaster insurance.

Supported by the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) under the Pacific Insurance Climate Adaptation Programme (PICAP), the project will include the development of a digital education platform for the region and the design of video-based interactive training modules to be delivered to rural communities, with a focus on reaching small scale farmers, fishers and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The developed training modules will be used to support communities initially in Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, Kiribati and the Solomon Islands.

Jack Farren, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Rural Inclusion said “We are delighted to start this new collaboration in a region especially vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. We anticipate that the intervention, supported by PICAP, will achieve increased levels of awareness amongst target communities.

Vineet Singh, Co-Founder & Director of Solutions Studio added “We are thrilled to lead such a significant venture for the Pacific, as it also aligns with Solutions Studio’s mission to improve the lives of the Pacific people by providing them with smart and innovative digital solutions. We express our gratitude to UNCDF, PICAP, and Rural Inclusion for their collaboration and support for this initiative. We are jointly fostering improved opportunities in the fields of education and development for our people.”
