Great interview! Excellent to finally see real discussion of financialization of the economy and how elites and intellectuals have let entire generations down (thanks Boomers!). Good to start hearing discussions of policy alternatives and incentives that are not just regulation and redistribution, and hints of a “new operating model” that is based in a better sense of fairness, dignity and longer term benefits than just the next quarter’s earnings. Want to hear more about technology’s ability to assist a better distribution of societal benefits. How can we improve the next generations ability to achieve a better share of society’s social contract without dooming it to regulation and portioning by the elites that made this mess.
