According to sources, Sprout, the German-based Counter-Strike team, is set to sign Danish IGL Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen and German rifler Bastian “ayken” Schendzierlorz to their team on a permanent basis in place of Pawel “innocent” Mocek and Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend. The aforementioned players have been practicing with the team as well as standing in for the team in various official matches. Since mid-March, ayken has been playing in-place of innocent and sycrone has replaced kRYSTAL as of mid-April.
The move comes off the back of nearly four months of lackluster results following Sprout’s less-than-stellar placement at the Boston ELEAGUE Major. Sprout, which already made changes in acquiring Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen after parting ways with Jesse “zehN” Linjala, is looking to improve upon their 8th place finish in the ESEA Mountain Dew League Season 27.
Sprout will now play with the following roster:
Denis “denis” Howell
Timo “Spiidi” Richter
Niels “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen
Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen
Bastian “ayken” Schendzierlorz
As recently reported by Flickshot and HLTV, innocent is leaving to join Ricardo “fox” Pacheco, Kevin “HS” Tarn, and Christian “loWel” Garcia Antoran for a new European Mix team. There is no indication of the future for kRYSTAL, who has played with innocent since PENTA Sports. The EU mix still looking for a fifth player to complete their roster and have reportedly practiced with several players.
