As I clicked thru Stats I chanced upon this drivel again (unfortunately). For example ‘No innate reason exists for loving your family, or even liking them, except for genetics.’
This is absolutely incorrect and does a tremendous disservice to those who should be actively working to make family relationships work. Ignores or minimizes tremendous local social dynamics at play. As in ask yourself, how much did you contribute towards communicating and developing some real intra-familial bonds. Was it just easier to ignore family and connect with ‘friends’ who supported your theories of abandonment? i.e. enablers.
Essay’s such as this begin with generalizations, spew several ‘feel good’ untruths to connect with the unsuspecting and then when challenged resort to ‘well in my case ..and these 3 other people I spoke with’.
Offer an argument by defining the accurate scope of the domain — then only one achieves any credibility at all.
