You’re both confused and clueless. Nice guys aren’t what you describe. You, and obviously some of the gems commenting here. Not a clue. Nice guys are guys who don’t demand, assume or otherwise manipulate. They’re not putting on an act. They’ve often been raised that way to be social, courteous regardless of the gender they’re dealing with. Nice guys are informed, have a future (but likely not with you) and play fair. They may or may not care to hold the door open for you. Unfortunately not-nice seems to be the only types you seem to attract, so quite possibly it must be you.

In the end some real nice guys you probably encountered are the really lucky ones, since they were able to miss out on you. They will find their mates in time. No loss at all.
