Introducing Snappd for iOS

You can now save your Snapchat & Instagram stories to be discovered & shared across the web. 🎉

Early last year there was a massive jump in the number of people making quality stories on Snapchat all for their hard work to be lost after 24 hours.

I was one of these people making stories on getting started with app development with tips & tutorials on Swift and Xcode.

After chatting with other creators it was clear there was a need for creators to be able to have a place dedicated to store their stories so they could be rewatched & discovered.

Fast forward a few months and now they can! We made Snappd with this clear goal in mind — there are big plans for the future but right now users can upload and share stories across social media and even embed on sites like Medium.

The discovery section groups users by a category / interests (updates coming here soon to highlight stories by category) to let users quickly find creators to follow. It is also possible to browse through and see which are the most used tags to find specific stories.
