Elon Musk’s reply has become a truly great event in the Russian Internet and mass media
It would be just a reply if not for the meme “Как тебе такое, Илон Маск?” (“How do you like it, Elon Musk?”). But it’s not just a reply. It is a universe scale event for the Russian meme culture.
Elon Musk is known to be a huge fan of memes. Many people (including your faithful servant) tried to break through to Musk with THE question. However it was the Russian NTV channel who became the first to succeed: its Twitter account posted a video featuring the “reversed” machine.
Basically it is the essence of Elon Musk memes. A photo or a video of weird Russian “engineering” solutions captioned “Как тебе такое, Илон Маск?”
Before February 13 Elon Musk has always kept silence. And finally he answered. In Russian!
“ хаха офигенно” means something like “haha cool”. This historical event immediately became a real newsbreak of yesterday in many Russian media.
