Laws of Motion

Laws of motion apply to us
As well as to rocks
Drifting in space

We linger inert until some force
Perhaps, the other one
Hits us

And move straight and lame
Until something appears
In our way

And sends us in a brand new direction
And we do the same
In return

This is the motion of life
Yet, not everyone is a rock
Some, as I am

Are just hollow pinballs
Scattered, shattered
