So that means that if our major political parties Stalin and Hitler on their ballots, we should force ourselves to choose between them? On what basis are we supposed to make such a choice.

At this point, it appears clear to me that NEITHER candidate that we have on the major party ballots is fit for high office. Picking arsenic over cyanide is not a option.

This is so poorly thought out that it actually takes my breath away. But others have already explained why a third party vote is not a throwaway vote.
