Haemorrhoids or commonly known as piles has become quite a serious health issue nowadays and most of us are unaware of it. Due to our daily lifestyle, food habit, working environment, etc. it is a very common phenomenon in every household. In this article, we will try to understand why piles need to be treated early and how to get a painless piles treatment.

Today in India a large percentage of the population is suffering from piles but they are not aware of its symptoms and they mostly ignore it till it’s too late. So, at first, let’s take a look at the symptoms.

Bleeding with the stool.

Redness and soreness around the anus.

Lump hanging outside the anus.

Itching around the bottom.

Pain while passing the stool.

These are some visible and common symptoms and if they are not treated early then it can lead to excessive bleeding and infection.

Now, according to doctors, we can categorize piles into four stages.

Stage1- In this stage, its only small inflammations inside the anus and they are not visible.

Stage2 –In this stage also it remains inside and only comes out at the time of passing stool. But it returns inside unaided.

Stage3 — In this stage, it gets serious and appears outside of the anus. This stage is called prolapsed haemorrhoids.

Stage4 — In this stage the lump hanging outside gets bigger and don’t go back inside and requires surgery or other necessary treatment needed.

These are some of the major symptoms of piles. So, if you notice any of the above symptoms then don’t wait and consult a doctor for painless piles treatment.

So what causes piles?

Well, the exact reason is unknown but an increase of pressure in the lower rectum region is considered to be the primary reason. The pressure actually stretches the blood vessels of that region and as a result, they might swell resulting in piles.

Apart from pressure reasons like chronic constipation and diarrhoea, being overweight, pregnancy and lifting heavy weight regularly can cause piles in the long term. Also, with age piles can come naturally too.

So, what’s the cure?

Normally, it cures after a few days or maybe a week without any treatment. But if it gets serious then you have to consult a doctor. Also, certain lifestyle changes can benefit too, like, increasing the fibre content in your food, drinking an adequate amount of water, losing weight, regular exercise, etc.

Creams and ointments available are great for painless piles treatment. You don’t need a prescription for these so just ask your nearest medicine shop for one. But if you are in a more severe condition then banding is a good option. Here an elastic band will be tied around the base of the lump, it will stop the blood supply and them lump will fall off after a week or so.

In terms of surgical procedure, new and advanced technologies available can give you a painless piles treatment, which is affordable.
